Single-cell RNAseq analysis of kidneys from RNLS knockout mice with chronic kidney disease treated with RNLS peptide encapsulated in mesonanoparticles

We compared transcriptome profiles of kidneys from RNLS KO mice treated with RNLS peptide RP81 in mesonanoparticle (RP81-MNP) or with empty MNP (control). Our study provided some molecular mechanism of how RNLS peptide protected kidney from cisplatin-induced CKD. RNLS KO mice were treated with either empty MNP or RNLS peptide RP81-MNP once a week for 4 weeks, and 2 doses of cisplatin at 15mg/kg, 2 weeks apart, for 4 weeks. Control mice kidneys were collected and digested into single cells, followed by next-generation sequencing analysis.
