A Billion Telegram Posts about the 2024 U.S. Presidential Election

With the intention of advancing the study of political discourse on social media and other topics permeated by politics, we present a Telegram dataset focused on the 2024 US Presidential Election, comprising over 43 thousand chats and 1 billion messages, and featuring chats' details, profile pictures, messages, and user information. This data is complemented by a record of inter-chat connections, where chats link to each other through mentions, links, text links, or forwards. This resource represents the largest public Telegram dataset to date, offering an unprecedented opportunity to study political discussion on Telegram.
