The Library Committee of Grafton Municipal Council issued policies and decisions on all library matters. The minutes were created at least once per month and recorded chronologically. The first meeting of this committee took place on 12 February 1944.These minutes included the librarian’s report which discussed book and periodical purchases, monthly statistics, stocktaking and Children’s Library.
