Diaporthe Genome Sequencing

The genus Diaporthe has been discovered worldwide on a wide variety of host plants, functioning as endophytes, pathogens, and saprobes. In the past, a number of crucial plant diseases caused by Diaporthe species were reported over time. To further investigate the species diversity of Diaporthe species on apple, we investigated and collected apple branch and stem disease samples in Henan and Shandong Province, China, and identified the Diaporthe species. This research will enhance our understanding of governing the diversity and adaptation of Diaporthe species.
