110 groups of retention factors for mechanical properties of structural steels at elevated temperatures

This open database compiles elevated-temperature mechanical-property retention factors for structural steels. The database contains 110 groups, comprising 88 hot-type and 22 cold-type steels assembled from published tensile tests reported between 1964 and 2024 across seven countries or regions. Each group is screened for applicability to building structures and for test method, and is harmonized to a common notation and a common temperature grid. The package includes retention-factor data, room-temperature reference properties, full per-group metadata, variability measures, and correlation indicators for reuse in probabilistic material modelling, reliability-based structural fire design, and design-code calibration.
