In order to understand the transcriptomic changes that occured in melanoma tissues from a patient with spontaneous remission we obtained longitudinal biopsies. RNA was extracted from FFPE material and analyzed by 3'mRNA-Seq. This study was complemented with immunohistochemical stains of matched samples. We were interested in markers of melanoma differentiation (TYR, MART-I, gp100, SOX10, MITF) and dedifferentiation (NGFR, EGFR).
