Sequencing of microglia in Salmonella infection and asiatic acid treatment

Salmonella infection is still a serious threat to public health in developing countries. The details of non-coding RNA is unclear in Salmonella typhimurium (S. Typhimurium) infected microglia (macrophages in brain). Microglia is one kind of very important target cells to discover new therapeutics or drugs. Asiatic acid is an effective drug for the treatment of neuroinflammation, and its role in Salmonella infected microglia is unclear. In this study, whole transcriptome-based lncRNA-miRNA-mRNA associated ceRNA network was constructed in murine microglia.
