El Salvador: positive perception of the United States 2013-2018

A survey conducted between 2013 and 2018 found out that the share of people in El Salvador with a positive view of the United States has decreased. When asked how they would describe their opinion of the U.S., 62 percent of Salvadoran respondents claimed to have either a good or a very good perception of the North American country in 2018, down from 80 percent one year before.Likewise, the rate of positive perceptions of the United States in Latin America as a whole has been declining lately.
