There is an interaction between intestinal microorganisms and the host, and there are differences in the bacterial flora in the cecum of sheep with different levels of fat deposition. And differential microorganisms were significantly associated with metabolite content in the cecum and host. Therefore, the regulation of cecal microorganisms can help improve fat deposition traits in sheep.
