Wireline telecom subscribers in India 2015-2023

Urban India's wireline telecom subscribers amounted to around 29.1 million as of 2023, a visible increase from the previous year. The rural wireline subscribers saw constant decline during the presented period until 2020. BSNL had the highest wired rural subscriber base in the country that year.
