Gene expression profiling of WT and Aldh1a1 KO mouse lung tissues (Part 2)

To explore potential impact of Aldh1a1 deficiency in the retinoic acid signaling in the lung, gene expression levels were compared between wildtype and Aldh1a1 deficient lung tissues. The expression levels of retinoic acid responsive genes were very similar between wildtype and Aldh1a1 deficient lungs, suggesting that Aldh1a1 deficiency has minimal impact on retinoic acid signaling. Lung tissues were isolated from two mice per group (Aldh1a1+/+ and Aldh1a1-/-) and enzymatically digested. Extracted and purified total RNA samples were used for RNA-seq analysis.
为探究Aldh1a1基因缺失对肺部视黄酸信号通路的潜在影响,本研究对比了野生型与Aldh1a1缺失肺组织的基因表达水平。视黄酸应答基因的表达水平在野生型与Aldh1a1缺失肺组织中极为相似,提示Aldh1a1缺失对肺部视黄酸信号通路的影响极小。本研究从每组(Aldh1a1+/+与Aldh1a1-/-)各2只小鼠中分离肺组织,并进行酶解消化。提取并纯化的总RNA样品用于RNA测序(RNA-seq)分析。
