California Coastal Trail (CCT)

The California Coastal Trail is identified as a trail of national and statewide significance. The Trail is envisioned to be a continuous interconnected public trail system along the California coastline from Oregon to Mexico, covering 15 coastal counties. The trail system is primarily a pedestrian trail, located as close to the coast as possible. It is located on a variety of terrains, including the beach, bluff top, pathways, etc. The purpose of this dataset is to provide a current georeferenced, attributed, depiction of the current status of the California Coastal Trail.
