Results of Five SNP Loci in Peripheral Blood DNA of Diabetic Retinopathy Patients Analyzed by Mass ARRAY MALDI-TOF Technology

This dataset comprises peripheral blood DNA samples from patients with diabetic retinopathy (DR), focusing on the results of five single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs). The SNPs include rs10061133 (MIR-449B), rs17883901 (GCLC), rs2070744 (eNOS), rs3759890 (SORD), and rs7754561 (ENPP1). A total of 1433 participants were enrolled, divided into healthy controls (n=480), individuals with diabetes mellitus without retinopathy (n=480), non-proliferative DR patients (n=378), and proliferative DR patients (n=95). The five SNPs were genotyped using Mass ARRAY MALDI-TOF technology. This dataset provides a crucial foundation for investigating the genetic risk factors associated with diabetic retinopathy, revealing specific SNP associations with the condition and offering insights for future clinical risk assessment and potential therapeutic directions.
