Asparagus setaceus is a very popular ornamental plant cultivated in tropical and subtropical regions globally. It is also have medicinal and evolutional importance. However, molecular resources for A. setaceus remain limited and no reference genome has been published to date. In this study, we constructed a chromosome-level genome of A. setaceus by taking advantage of Nanopore, Illumina, 10×Genomics and Hi-C sequencing platforms.
