This series comprises a printed manual (dated April, 1969) providing details of the procedure to be adopted for the Sydney Opera House project in relation to the following areas: contract documents; selection of tenders; tendering; supervision and administration of work; purchasing and accounting; drawings; meetings; distribution of letters and memoranda; work programme and budgetary control and variations.The Appendix, to which reference is made in the manual, is not attached. A copy of a letter relating to the draft for the Manual of Procedure from the Project Officer, Sydney Opera House, is included.The Draft Variation of Procedure, (dated 1970), by Hall, Todd and Littlemore sets out the procedures in actual practice in June 1970. The draft is principally concerned with variations to the following: sub-contract works; price requests; orders; drawings; site instruction of letter; recording of variation orders and the extension of sub-contract time.(4/7985). 1 box.
