Supporting data for "Segmentation-Based Quality Control of Structural MRI using the CAT12 Toolbox"

The data incude zip archives of different MRI datasets used to define, validate and evaluate the quality metrics of the paper (Dahnke2025_[ADHD200|ATLAS2|BWP|IXI-T1|MRART|Rusak2021|TRT_Tohoku].zip). They also include the CAT12 version (Dahnke2025_catQC_cat12-main.zip from Github) used to create the results presented in the paper as well as the RAW result figures (Dahnke2025_results.zip).<br>Various MATLAB script (located in the catQC subdirectory within the CAT12 distribution) were used to organise the RAW data and preprocess them with CAT12. The CAT12 segmentation (subdirectory: mri/p0*.nii) is then used for the quality assessment of the RAW images. The quality assessments of each subject is saved as XML and MAT-files (report/cat_*.xml/mat). The major zip-files include the preprocessed files for (i) the validation on the brain web phantom (BWP; Figure 5), (ii) for evaluation of life-time changes in the IXI dataset as well as in case of severe brain lesions in the ATLAS2 dataset (Figure 6), (iii) the changes in case of motion artefacts in the MR-ART dataset (Figure 7 and 8), the test-retest dataset (Figure 9).<br>A step-by-step instruction can be found in the pipeline_instruction.txt.
