The Lightning2EarthCARE product includes three related datasets describing geostationary satellite-observed lightning activity in the context of EarthCARE observations: (1) lightning groups collocated with EarthCARE MSI-like frames, (2) along-track lightning counts referenced to EarthCARE CPR samples, and (3) a catalogue of lightning storms sampled during EarthCARE overpasses.
