The Living Atlas contains some of the world's best data and information products related to global biodiversity and conservation. This layer provides statistical summaries of those datasets (e.g., mean, sum, majority, percent area) for multiscale H3 hexbins (levels 2-5). The hexbins were created in ArcGIS Pro using the Generate Tessellation tool with the H3 option. An alias and long field description is provided for each field. Some common workflows might include: Create multivariate maps Use one variable to filter or apply feature-specific effects to emphasize another Calculate a Composite Index of multiple variables Use the Find Similar tool Summarize your own data using blank H3 hexagons and join the fields using the GRID ID/Hexagon ID.
