IL-37 reduces allergic inflammation of atopic dermatitis by regulating gut microbiota

Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a global epidemic of immune disease and there are currently no effective treatments. Intestinal bacteria can regulate host immunity by affecting their metabolism. As a regulatory cytokine, IL-37 can suppress excessive immune responses through multiple types of pathways. So far, whether IL-37 can regulate the host's immunity by affecting the ecological diversity and metabolic patterns of intestinal bacteria is worthy of exploring and digging. Therefore, we used metagenomic sequence technology to detect the diversity differences of gut bacteria between IL-37 transgenic mice and wild-type in MC903-induced murine AD model.
