In Belgium, there are three different auxiliary systems, which are designed to work perfectly with each other. Memor-crocodile automatically warns the driver TBL1, automatically warns the driver and makes an automatic stop when a TBL1+ stop signal passes automatically warns the driver and makes an automatic stop, but also performs a local speed control, thus offering protection at dangerous points (when approaching a signal). The European Train Control System (ETCS) is an automatic train control system that informs, monitors and corrects trains using track beacons and a computer system in the train driver's cab. Track beacons detect the exact position of the train to determine the maximum permitted speed. In addition, ETCS monitors and, if necessary, corrects train control (for example, it can automatically correct train speed or activate the emergency brake).
