This study focuses on the Parus minor as the research subject. Using artificial nest boxes to attract these birds, we employed 16S rRNA and ITS sequencing technologies to analyze changes in the microbial composition of the nest before and after nesting, and explore the main sources of the nest microbiota. Additionally, the study investigates whether these changes in microbial communities affect the reproductive ecology of the birds. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of the interactions between birds and microorganisms, providing important references for studies on bird reproduction, development, and environmental adaptation.
