Global number of 5G patents filed as of February 2020, by key company

According to IPlytics GmbH, Huawei led the global 5G patent competition by having filed over 3,000 of them as of February 2020. Over 5,700 5G patents from the 5G market leader Huawei and ZTE were filed in China.
