Quarterly data on the amount of exceptional private sector premiums, the number of establishments concerned and the number of eligible employees, at regional level, by type of premium (Pepa/PPV and Covid). ► _[DAYS](https://open.urssaf.fr/explore/dataset/planning-de-mise-a-jour/table/?sort=date_de_mise_a_jour)_: end of trim. + ~70 days. _Source_: DSN (Nominative Social Declarations) _Champ_: Private sector, scope of quarterly employment estimates (FTEs). _Deep_: since the fourth quarter of 2018. _Methodological details_: \- The exceptional premium is the exceptional purchasing power premium introduced on 24 December 2018 as part of the economic and social emergency measures (the so-called “Pepa” premium) or the premium implemented in the context of the Covid-19 health crisis (the so-called “Covid” premium). \- The Value Sharing Premium (PPV) replaces the Exceptional Purchasing Power Premium (PEPA) as of July 2022. Thus, the column “EPA/PPV Amount” includes the PEPA until the first quarter of 2022 and from the third quarter of 2022 the PPV. \- Establishments paying an exceptional premium must, in principle, declare in the Personal Social Declaration (DSN) the total amount of premiums paid (so-called “aggregated” data) and break it down by employee concerned (so-called “individual data”). In some cases, only individual data or only aggregated data are filled in. The methodological choice on which the calculation of the overall amounts of premiums is based (see other sets on exceptional premiums) is to prioritise the individual amounts declared, and to take into account the aggregate amount, if any, when the individual data are not provided. The ** coverage rate of individual data** indicates the share of individual data amounts in the total amount at the quarter x region level. In the order of 95 % overall in 2020 and 2021, it was 87 % in 2019 (ETS private field). **Given differences in coverage rates, it is appropriate to be cautious about comparisons of the number of employees, as well as the amounts derived from the individual data.** \- The number of active establishments includes all SIRETs with a payroll statement over the quarter. \- The data in this game relate to the field of the private sector of the ETS. [The ETE field](https://www.urssaf.org/accueil/statistiques/notre-methodologie/les-effectifs-salaries-et-la-mas.html) corresponds to the perimeter of the private sector selected in the Urssaf’s short-term publications on employees and wage bills. It is defined in partnership with INSEE and Dares as part of the Quarterly Employment Estimates (ETE). It is outside the agricultural sector (AZ), excluding extraterritorial activities (UZ) and outside Mayotte.
