Importance of nativity to national identity in select European countries 2017

This statistic shows the share of people who think it is important for a person to be born in the country to be "truly one of us" in 2017, by country and the respondents view of the main anti-immigration populist party in that country. In 2017, 75 of Germans who held a favorable view of the AfD believed being born in Germany was important for someone to be considered truly German.
