A study of measures to reduce injuries to pedestrians : TARU 5/72

Pedestrian involved accidents constitute a significant proportion of all traffic accidents, and the number of injuries per accident in pedestrian accidents is approximately three times the number of other types of traffic accidents. As with other types of accidents, pedestrian accident countermeasures can be applied to the human body, the vehicle and the environment, during the pre-crash, crash and post-crash phases. This paper is primarily concerned with reducing injuries to pedestrians through a study of the vehicle during the crash phase of pedestrian accidents.涉行人交通事故在所有交通事故中占比颇高，且此类事故的单次受伤人数约为其他类型交通事故的三倍。与其他类型交通事故一致，涉行人事故的防控措施可作用于行人自身、车辆及道路环境，覆盖碰撞前、碰撞发生时与碰撞后三个阶段。本文主要聚焦于在涉行人交通事故的碰撞阶段，通过对车辆的相关研究来降低行人所受的伤害。
