资源简介:
Our understanding of long-term metabolic dysfunctions in COVID-19 remains unclear due to the lack of animal models. We develop a non-human primate model of metabolic post-acute sequelae of SARS-CoV-2 by infecting African green monkey with SARS-CoV-2. We found a dysregulated inflammatory signature during acute COVID-19 that associates with elevated and persistent hyperglycemia up to four months post-infection.
