Prescription vs Description: An Empirical Approach to the Study of Rhyming Practices and Language Change through the Poetry of the Tang and the Song

This dataset contains the poems of the Quan Tang Shi 全唐詩 and Quan Song Shi 全宋詩, as found in the https://github.com/chinese-poetry/ repository. In addition to their original id/author/title/paragraphs, two extra fields per poem are provided: guangyun_annotation, which indicates the rhyming paragraphs according to the Guangyun (incl. interchangeability 通用 rules), and community_annotation, which indicates the rhyming paragraphs according to an annotator that uses detected rhyme communities to attribute a rhyme judgement.
