资源简介:
Sesamum genus constitutes a species complex in Lamiales where wild relatives exhibit diverse phenotypes. The lack of wild species genomic resources hampers the elucidation of the phylogenetic relationships between cultivated and wild species. To fill this gap, we generated short-reads genomic data of six sesame wild relatives including Sesamum alatum, Sesamum angolense, Sesamum pedaloides, Sesamum radiatum, Ceratotheca sesamoides, and Ceratotheca triloba. The chloroplast genomes were assembled, annotated, and served to reconstruct at a molecular level, the phylogeny in the Sesamum species complex.
