Cross-regional transferability of onset atmospheric moisture for heatwave-night minimum temperature: analysis code and derived data
收藏资源简介:
This independent version 1.0 archive accompanies the manuscript Cross-regional transferability of onset atmospheric moisture for heatwave-night minimum temperature by Shulin Tang (Longdong University). The archive contains portable analysis and figure scripts, derived inputs, model tables, held-out predictions, all 2,000 region-preserving permutation draws, time-block and reverse-time checks, figure data, Figures 1–5, provenance, and SHA-256 checksums. The study evaluates 158 severe heatwave–control pairs in Europe, East Asia, Australia, and southern South America during 1986–2024, including a 126-pair same-year sensitivity analysis. Reproduction is verified from the included derived inputs; end-to-end reconstruction from raw climate fields is outside this archive. NOAA CPC and ERA5 raw fields are not redistributed. The upstream matched-event archive is independently available at https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.22692192; this record does not replace it. The findings concern observational predictive transportability, not causal mediation or operational forecast skill. Near-endpoint evening temperature overlaps the beginning of the ERA5 local-night endpoint; CPC native daily labels are not asserted to match the solar-time window exactly. Adverse regional sensitivity and reverse-time placebo results are retained. The research received no specific grant. Author-owned code and the derived-data compilation are provided under CC BY 4.0; original provider rights remain unchanged. See README.md for requirements and reproduction commands.
