This file contains data on odour emissions from industrial companies licensed by the province and their translation into health risks. The province has calculated the 98 percentile fragrance contours using an odour diffusion model. For example, 98 percentile of 5 ge/m³ means that outside the contour in 98 % of the time the odour immission will be lower than 5 ge/m³ at some point. The calculated 98p-Geurcontours have been translated into GES scores in accordance with the Handbook on Health Impact Screening City & Environment 2012. The map does not indicate exactly the areas where smell is perceptible, but how likely it is to be perceived and how strong it is. Whether someone actually smells the smell depends on that person’s business, weather, location and sense of smell.
