Социально-философский анализ высказывания «Когда нет жизни своей, интересуются чужой»: мотивы интереса к чужой жизни

This article presents a socio-philosophical analysis of the statement by the author, published under the name <b>Aleksey Pogrebnoj-Alexandroff</b>: "When there is no life of one's own, one takes an interest in someone else's: When one's own life is not interesting and rich, one takes an interest in another's – someone else's and external." The study incorporates philosophical, sociological, and psychological approaches to the problem of interest in other people's lives. Specific attention is given to the etymology and social function of gossip, its cross-cultural comparison, as well as the phenomenon of "word-of-mouth" as the oldest form of information intermediation and the concept of "the second human profession." Methods of countering false information and fakes in the digital age, the role of artificial intelligence in this process, as well as related ethical considerations and predictions for technological development, are also examined.
