IN2016_E02 Sydney to Hobart Bathymetry 10m - 210m Multi-resolution AusSeabed products

This layer group describes multibeam echosounder data collected on RV Investigator voyage IN2016_E02 titled "MNF Equipment Sea Trials". The voyage took place between December 16 and December 20, 2016, departing from Sydney (NSW) and arriving in Hobart (TAS).\n\nThe primary objective of the voyage was to test and verify equipment in preparation for upcoming voyages in 2017.\n\nThis dataset is published with the permission of CSIRO. Not to be used for navigational purposes.\n\nThe dataset contains bathymetry grids of 10m to 210m resolution of the transit between Sydney and Hobart produced from the processed EM122 and EM710 bathymetry data.\n\nLineage: Data processing for the EM122 and EM710 was performed using CARIS 9.1. Data from both systems\nwere imported into a single CARIS project using Vessel files investigator_EM710 and\nInvestigator_EM122. A zero tide was applied to the data before merging. All lines were swath\nedited and subedited.\n\nThe data was then gridded at multiple resolutions in python Caris batch script using a Depth filter Vs Resolution guideline derived from AusSeabed Multibeam guidelines v2 and further inspected for outliers. Final raster products are available in L3 folder of this collection. Final processed data were also exported per line as GSF and ASCII format and available in the L2 folder of this collection.\n
