Received Signal Strength Measurements for Below-ground Potato Tuber Biomass Estimation in Outdoor Environments
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains received signal strength (RSS) data collected in outdoor environments for below-ground biomass estimation. Specifically, we construct an outdoor potato tuber planting scenario and perform preliminary experiments. In this outdoor scenario, we build two ridges to bury potato tubers, each with a length of 4 m. We select 18 potato tubers for data collection, with weights ranging from 101.3 g to 204.1 g. These tubers are evenly planted in the two ridges, with a 0.5 m spacing between adjacent tubers. Then, our testbed is deployed along each ridge to collect RSS data for each tuber. The testbed consists of 16 sensor nodes arranged in a square, with 13.5 cm between adjacent nodes. To facilitate mobility, these sensor nodes are mounted on a white rack measuring 54 cm × 54 cm. During data collection, each tuber is located at the center of the sensing area, and RSS data are recorded for one minute per tuber. More details on tuber weights and file naming conventions can be found in the 'ReadMe.txt' file. In addition, this dataset can be used as a supplement to the dataset at https://zenodo.org/records/15000852, which is collected in a greenhouse environment.
