Census of Agriculture, 1981 [Canada]

The 1981 Census of Agriculture file contains data on farm operators in Canada, as well as the crop and livestock situation. Detailed information on economic characteristics of farm operators is available. Detailed crop and livestock variables are organized by size of farm operation. Some files have been amalgamated at census division and census sub-division levels for reasons of confidentiality. See Documentation file listed below for census amalgamations for these files. NOTE: the raw data file had some fields containing characters X and Y. We are unclear as to their meaning. For now they have all been coded as missing (Bo - Nov, 2000)
