This study aimed to determine the effects of moderately high temperatures on starch synthesis and gene expression of storage proteins in 'Shunrai' barley during grain filling. Plants were grown at either moderately high day temperature (25/9 °C; HD) or control temperature (20/9 °C; CT) from peak flowering to maturity. Gene expression in filling grain was analyzed by RNA-sequencing at 5, 12, and 19 days after anthesis (DAA).
