Three tables on vegetation, arthropod fauna and carabids  on extensivley managed sites compared to intensivley managed sites along the Emscher and Rotbach river, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.

Mowing = Extensively managed sites (max. 2 cuts per year).

Control_sowing = intensivly managed control sites (4-6 cuts per year with mulching).

s = Change to extensive management within the last 2 years.

m = Change to extensive management 5-7 years ago.
