DATASET: Permanent grassland classifications predict agronomic and environmental characteristics well, but not ecological characteristics

This dataset is linked to the paper "Permanent grassland classifications predict agronomic and environmental characteristics well, but not ecological characteristics" (Mesbahi et al., under review).Datasets consists of 252 grasslands from the Vosges Mountains (France), described by 16 ecological-, agronomic- and environmental characteristics. Each grasslands is also classified in three classifications (or "typologies"): one is phytosociological, one is agronomic and the last is functional. <br>Script used for the statistical analyse is also available. Statistics mainly consists in model selection. Each characteristic had been modelled by each classification, by all the combinations of two classifications and by the three classifications, and we finally selected the best models.<br>
