Thecollection was re-valued in 2012 - 2013 at $258.3m.Building assetsRecords repositories for storage of the StateArchives and the State Government’s non-currentrecords are located at North Melbourne andBallarat. The Victorian Archives Centre in NorthMelbourne, including land, was valued in 2012-2013 and is now valued at $59.9m.Motor vehiclesPublic Record Office Victoria operates two vehicles:a sedan and a station wagon.Plant and operating equipmentOperating assets are used for the upkeep of thephysical and digital repositories so public recordscan be stored safely and made available for publicinspection.Costs comprise operating costs.
