Eutrophication is a unique but natural form of pollution of some aquatic ecosystems that occurs when the environment receives too much nutrients that can be assimilated by algae and they proliferate. The main nutrients behind this phenomenon are phosphorus (containing in phosphates) and nitrogen (content in ammonium, nitrates, and nitrites).

富营养化（Eutrophication）是一类独特却自然存在的污染形式，可发生于部分水生生态系统中，当环境获得过量可被藻类同化利用的营养物质时，藻类便会大量增殖。引发该现象的主要营养物质为磷（以磷酸盐形式存在）与氮（存在于铵盐、硝酸盐及亚硝酸盐中）。
