We
developed and evaluated a tungro epidemiological model called rtdSim using historical rice
tungro disease (RTD) incidence
data and weather data collected in the Philippines. Intensive
modeling framework for RTD epidemiology and its relationship with weather conditions aimed at predicting the potential
risk of seasonal RTD epidemics by integrating seasonal forecasts and this tungro
epidemiological model, rtdSIM, in the future.
