Location rooms for local and district heating supply (BOKU)

The site spaces for local and district heating are those settlement areas that can be supplied with wired heat (and cooling) particularly efficiently. Those spatial and settlement structures that allow a heat demand to be expected within a municipality are identified, which most likely will allow the economic and efficient operation of a local or district heating network. The modelling of local and district heating site spaces shall take into account the following three parameters: (1) heat demand densities, (2) consumer structure and (3) infrastructure requirements.
