MACROFLORAL ANALYSIS FOR THE MEGA SITE, AZ 88:9:375 (ASM), PIMA COUNTY, ARIZONA

Five samples from the fill of two roasting pits at the Mega site, AZ 88:9:375 (ASM), in Pima
County, Arizona, were examined for macrofloral remains. The two roasting pits are visible on the
site surface, which is covered with a light scatter of ceramic and lithic artifacts. Macrofloral analysis
is used to provide information on use of plant resources by the site occupants, in order to help
address research questions concerning social and economic organization.

对美国亚利桑那州皮马县Mega遗址（编号AZ 88:9:375，缩写ASM）内两处烧烤坑的堆积物中提取的5份样本，开展了大植物遗存（macrofloral remains）检测分析。该遗址地表可见上述两处烧烤坑，且地表散布有少量陶瓷遗物与石质遗物。大植物遗存分析旨在获取遗址居民对植物资源的利用相关信息，以助力解答有关社会与经济组织的研究议题。
