Diet and its impact on gut microbial essential amino acid provisioning in the viviparous Pacific beetles, Diploptera punctata

Study is a follow up of a previous study to investigate gut microbial essential amino acid provisioning in Diploptera punctata. This current study had a plant based starchy diet(GARI)in addition to dog food (DF) and cellulose-amended DF (CADF). GARI is all plant materials compared to the composite diet which is DF and CADF. Speculated that micorbial EE could be more discenable with a homogenous diet relative to composite diets.
