This dataset compiles financial policy and regulatory data sourced from multiple sections of official websites of over 460 institutional entities, including national legislative, judicial and supervisory organs, institutions under the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the State Council and its subordinate agencies, the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), securities regulatory authorities, trading exchanges and settlement institutions, financial institutions, central enterprises and wholly state-owned enterprises directly funded by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) of the State Council, as well as official websites of all 31 provincial and municipal governments across China.
