Stable Isotope Data (C, N, S) of Modern Hong Kong Humans and Their Food Sources

This data article describes a dataset of stable carbon, nitrogen, and sulfur isotope measurements (δ13C, δ15N, and δ34S) of modern humans in Hong Kong, along with comparative data from commonly consumed animals in the region. Hair samples were collected from 69 volunteers (47 females, 19 males, 3 undisclosed). In addition, bone collagen was extracted from 27 animal bones to establish a local dietary baseline. This dataset can be used in in anthropological and/or forensic studies of human mobility, nutrition, and the development of regional isoscape models.
