XII — Transition Matrix and Structural Observer Framework

XII is a reproducible dataset and analytical framework for studying structural behavior through transition matrices and observer-based residual analysis. The system models how a state evolves over time using a transition matrix approach and measures what cannot be explained by the model as a residual component: εₜ = unexplained structural variation after transition modeling This allows the separation between modeled dynamics and residual structure for further analysis. Core Components (Required) The main system is composed of the following files: XII_protocol_C.md — operational protocol and execution rules XII_documentation.md — full system description and structure xii_transition_matrix.py — implementation of the transition model xii_reference_stats.pkl — reference statistics for calibration xii_observers.csv — observer definitions and weights These files form the minimum required set to run and reproduce the system. Reference Data Supporting datasets used for calibration and analysis: corpus_regimes.csv — reference regime dataset residual_structural.csv — residual structure measurements Visual Traceability The dataset includes 7 figures used to visualize system behavior, structural consistency, and residual patterns across analyses. These images support interpretation and validation of results. Purpose The goal of XII is to: model structural transitions over time identify unexplained residual structure provide a reproducible analytical pipeline enable comparison across structured corpora Reproducibility The framework can be reproduced using standard Python libraries such as: numpy, pandas, scipy, pickle All results are generated from the provided core files and reference data. Notes This version focuses on structural modeling and residual extraction. It does not aim to fully explain all observed variability, but to isolate and measure it in a consistent way.
