Mansonella perstans Genome sequencing and assembly, isolate Mpe-Cam-1

Mansonella perstans is a filarial nematode parasite of humans, which is endemic to regions in Africa as well as in South America. The infection mansonellosis remains one of the most neglected tropical disease. This project provides the first whole-genome sequencing and assembly data for M. perstans, from a patient derived isolate "Mpe-Cam-1" collected in Cameroon.
