Anoctamin 5 regulates the cell cycle and affects prognosis in gastric cancer

Anoctamin 5 as a key mediator in tumor progression, it may being a promising prognostic biomarker for a novel therapeutic target of GC. Total RNA of NUGC4 cells were extracted using an RNeasy kit (Qiagen, Valencia, CA, USA). Real-time quantitative PCR (The Step One plus Real-Time PCR System; Applied Biosystems, Foster City, CA) and TaqMan Gene Expression Assays (Applied Biosystems) were employed. We compared the differences in gene expression between negative control and knockdown of anoctamin 5 in NUGC4 cells using Microarray assay.
