<br>We verify the possible relationships between the colour names and their respective preferences in adults and children. 300 adults took an online test (mean age = 30 years; SD = 1.02) and 52 children in person (23 6-yrs-old; 29 7-yrs-old), consisting of ordering 8 colours according to personal preference. Except for the colours brown and blue, the less and most preferred in both groups, we didn’t find relationships between the preferences. Also, the high differences between the colour name and their respective preference shows that personal preference does not have much impact on the learning of colour names and is probably related to other factors, such as context and culture.本研究旨在验证成年人与儿童对色彩的偏好与其对应色彩名称间的潜在关联。共有300名成年人参与线上测试（平均年龄30岁，标准差（SD）=1.02），另有52名儿童参与线下实测，其中23名为6岁儿童，29名为7岁儿童；测试内容为让受试者依据个人偏好对8种色彩进行排序。其中棕色（brown）与蓝色（blue）分别为两组受试者最不受青睐与最受青睐的色彩，除此之外，我们未发现其他色彩偏好间存在显著关联。此外，色彩名称与其对应偏好间存在较大差异，这表明个人偏好对色彩名称的学习并无显著影响，其背后或与语境、文化等其他因素相关。
