Enhanced methane production in anaerobic digestion system with microalgal biomass and waste cooking oil

In this study, we investigated the metagenomics of anaerobic digestion utilizing microalgae biomass produced under optimal growth conditions as a substrate. Specifically, we supplemented the limited carbon source with waste cooking oil and compared and analyzed the differences in metagenomes, focusing on archaea, bacteria, and fungi.
